"Phases" Macrame Pattern
"Phases" Wall Hanging
This step by step picture based pattern focuses on the use of the square knot to create graphics within your macrame, whilst also adding in some spirals elements.
All of my patterns are super detailed so if you are a beginner you can try this but I would suggest starting with a smaller project first :)
Dimensions: Approx. Wdith 100cm x length 40cm
YOU'LL NEED
• Scissors and measuring tape
• Two pieces of dowel approx 100cm long (I used 22mm oak dowel)
• Cord - approx 4mm in thickness, I have used single twist.
Using 4mm single twist cord, you will need approx 300m of background colour plus approx 85metres of moon colour cord and approx 8m of moon shadow colour cord (mine were natural, peachy pink and sepia respectively).
This allows the length of the finished piece to be approx 40cm without any fringe.
